Hello.  We are the Price family...Laura, Chuck, Jacob, Daniel, and Sarah.  My own philosophy as a teacher is that life is like a puzzle that should never be complete, but a continual life-long growth process.  With each experience, we add pieces to the puzzle; to become who we are.  Some of the pieces that Sarah has added to our family is an interest and love for animals, especially horses and dogs.

We can thank Tammy & David Braglin, whom we met when I was their grandson's PreK teacher, for our overwhelming interest in owning and breeding miniature dachshunds!  As we came to know (& love) them, we discovered the many colors and patterns of the miniature dachshund, and soon became addicted!  Good for us, dachshunds make such wonderful family pets, are easy to maintain, and love us in spite of ourselves!  I finally decided if you must have one of every kind, what better way than to breed them and give yourself an "excuse" for the obsession (ha)!(Thanks David & Tammy!)

We are a small scale Miniature Dachshund Breeder in Tennessee, just outside of Knoxville.  We raise AKC & CKC smooth short hair, and long hair Doxie puppies too.  We have a few colors that include:  Red, Shaded Red, Black, Black & Tan, Chocolate & Tan,  and American Cream (very light red with English Cream lines).  We have some available in the Brindle (striped) pattern. We strive to keep a small variety of colors and patterns available in our dachshund pups.  All of our puppies are born in our home, and are loved and handled every day to provide them with the special social bonding that they truly need.  Sarah would have it no other way, than that they are use to being with children, being handled and loved!  Keeping it in the family, my Uncle Mike has fallen in love with our doxies, and has joined our adventure.  He assists with the daily love, nurture and care of the adults, while I still handle the mommies & babies.  I believe if it's possible, he might just spoil them more than I do!

In addition to our Doxies, we cater to a small herd of horses & mini donkey's, goats, chickens, & rabbits (for pets and meat).  Sarah is interested in Showmanship, among other things!  Chuck enjoys a good trail ride, and I am currently content to love them on the ground level!  We strive to assure our horses, mini's, and other farm "pets" receive the same love and devotion our puppies do!

Life on a farm is never boring!  Sarah has us constantly exploring new horizons!  All creatures big or small, the Lord God (& Sarah) love them all!  In addition to our doxies, we have added to our "family" a Mini Schnauzer, and a Basset Hound.  These are our spay/neutered pets, and in no relation to our breeding family.  We are currently putting together a small family operated Petting Zoo, which we hope to offer at an affordable price to the public.  We are a small farm, with a big heart full of adventure!  In one way or another, we hope to be of service to the community, and to make the most out of this little piece of land we have acquired!  With God, all things are possible!

We thank God every day for the blessings he has bestowed upon us:  good health, good family, good friends (especially animal friends),  and the excitement of never knowing what each new day will bring!  None of this would be possible without the Grace of God, a very patient husband, and a very devoted father (thanks to all of you).  Look around at our site, enjoy, and please let us know if you would like to add some of this joy to your life with a little miniature doxie or if we can be of service through the variety of projects, down on the farm!
