Puppy Health Guarantee

Your puppy is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of sale.  You, as the buyer, have a 48 hour guarantee of good health.  The puppy is completely healthy as far as we can tell, at the time of sell.  The puppy has left our facility free of any internal or external parasites or canine diseases.

The buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within the 48 hour health guarantee time frame (if for some reason you think your puppy may be ill or have a problem).  If you do not have the puppy examined during this time allowance, the puppy is assumed to be in good health and no further guarantee can be offered.

If during the 48 hours after you have taken possession of your puppy, it is determined by a licensed vet to have a serious hereditary health condition, we as the seller agrees to exchange the puppy for another puppy of equal value, if the puppy is returned to us at the expense of the purchaser during the 48 hour time guarantee, with all papers and a written statement from the examining vet stating the diagnosis of the hereditary condition that was found, and the reason for the puppy being returned.  We can not guarantee the puppy to be completely free from any congenital disorders, as these are conditions that are not hereditary, and are rare, but possible with any living being (people included).  No animal or person is exactly perfect.  These conditions are basically individual birth defects or conditions that are not controllable or predictable.  We feel it is important to point out, that there is a slight possibility an any puppy, and you must be willing to accept the responsibility of this when you decide to purchase a puppy, and be willing to provide as needed.

We reserve the right to have the puppy re-examined by our veterinarian of choice, to determine the true extent of the complication,and to ensure the puppy has a serious hereditary condition that we were unaware of, before replacement is issued.  We will replace the puppy with another puppy of equal value (in the event another puppy is not immediately available, the next available puppy of equal value will be provided as soon as available).

We, as a reputable breeder, strive to breed top quality puppies, and stand behind our puppies,  However,  we can not offer guarantee against canine parasites or diseases and congenital disorders that the puppy may have, or be exposed to after they leave our hands.  Only major life threatening hereditary defects that can be proven by a licensed vet to be hereditary are guaranteed.  This is extremely rare in our facility; we are very proud of our health records.  If this should ever prove to be the case, we will guarantee to handle the case on an individual basis, and make every effort to satisfy you, the customer.  We can not be responsible for any vet cost incurred as the result of any health condition.  We do not offer to pay for any care expenses once the puppy leaves our hands;these expenses are accepted by you as the new pet owner.

It is understood at the time of sale that this dog is not guaranteed to be of show quality or breeding quality, but is a full blooded Dachshund puppy.

All puppies are current on their vaccinations, appropriate for their age, up to the date of purchase, as recommended by our vet.  Puppies have been wormed prior to being purchased.  We will provide a health record chart for each puppy, indicating vaccine administration and worming dates.

We will not accept a return or exchange of a puppy except for the above serious hereditary medical problem detected within the guarantee time period.

It is understood and agreed that the seller gives no further warranty and accepts no responsibility with respect to the sold puppy, except as set forth within this written contract.

There are NO REFUNDS.  All puppy sales are final.  We will not refund money or buy back any puppy once it has been purchased, for any reason.  Please give this purchase a lot of thought and consideration...it is  a lifetime commitment.

"Price"less puppies are sold as pet only, unless otherwise stated.  As responsible pet owners, we encourage you to spay/neuter your pet as soon as the pup is old enough.  Anyone interested in full AKC registration and breeding rights, must make previous arrangements with us, and purchase these rights from us at the time of puppy sale.  This agreement must be in writing and signed by us here, at our location.  Please speak to us personally about this issue.
